We love grabbing drinks with our entrepreneur friends because they always have the craziest stories. Sometimes it’s a big, unexpected win. Other times it’s a problem that came out of nowhere and couldn’t possibly have been foreseen. There is so much to learn from these stories and so we asked some of the brightest entrepreneurs and creatives in the community to share some of those stories below.

ast year I was at a market and usually get “ooooo Stickers!” when someone comes by my table. I have a huge variety of stickers (motivational, sarcastic, self love, kawaii, vintage, etc.) so there is usually a sticker that a customer will make a connection with. A mother and son came to my table and it was clear that they were having a tense discussion. All of the sudden the son goes “Mom, may I speak freely?” the mother then says “look for a sticker on the table that relates to how you’re feeling and show me.” Read more>>

An important part about growing on social media is participating in trends. If you can get it *just* right you might have a shot at going viral and getting your content seen by lots of new people. When I saw the “2022 dating wrapped” trend going around I knew I had to share my dating experience. The idea of the trend is to have a slide show presentation with data about your 2022 dating experience. Almost right out of school I took an apprentice role. I was struggling to find a salon that would provide the education and opportunity for growth that I was looking for. We were hired by a church to clean out a storage unit owned by a member who bequeathed her estate to the church. The unit contained furniture, knick knacks and boxes filled with playbills and memorabilia.
