Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Frost
Hi Taylor , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My artistic journey began early in my childhood, as I was raised between two diverse worlds—half in America and half in Europe. Growing up in such a rich cultural environment exposed me to a wide variety of art forms and perspectives, sparking my passion for creativity and visual storytelling. I was deeply influenced by the art and history around me, and it was during these formative years that my love for photography began to take shape. At 15, my father gifted me my first camera, which became a tool for me to capture the world around me and explore my growing artistic voice. Throughout high school, I entered art programs and competitions, which further fueled my desire to pursue a career in the arts.
After high school, I attended Chester College of New England, a small but inspiring art school nestled in the hills of New Hampshire. It was there that I refined my skills and found my artistic direction. Since graduating, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across the U.S. and around the world, always seeking new experiences and inspiration to hone my craft. My focus has evolved into capturing love in its many forms, using photography as a way to document human connection and emotion. Each new place and encounter continues to shape my work, and I remain passionate about telling stories through the lens of my camera.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road, and there were many challenges along the way. One of the most significant was becoming a mother to a special needs child at a young age. At the time, it felt like my world had shifted entirely, and much of my time and energy went into being there for my child and navigating the complexities that came with that responsibility. However, rather than letting those challenges hold me back, they became a source of motivation. The struggles I faced pushed me to be more determined, more focused, and more creative in how I managed my time and built my business. It was hard, but I chose to let the adversity fuel my growth rather than drag me down.
In many ways, the difficulties I faced early on were a catalyst for launching my business and shaping its success. The need to create a stable and fulfilling life for my family gave me a sense of urgency and a drive that was impossible to ignore. I channeled my emotions, frustrations, and passion into my work, which ultimately helped me grow my business into what it is today. Each setback or obstacle became an opportunity for resilience, and I learned to adapt, grow, and persevere in ways I never thought possible. Looking back, I realize that those struggles not only taught me invaluable lessons but also helped me build the foundation for a successful and meaningful career in the arts.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Boston-based photographer specializing in storytelling through images, particularly capturing weddings and love stories across the country and around the world. My work is all about authenticity—turning real, raw moments into bold, timeless pieces of art. I believe that every couple’s story is unique, and I work closely with my clients to ensure that their images reflect their true emotions and connection. Each photo I capture is handpicked, carefully curated, and crafted to tell a real love story that resonates. What I’m most proud of is that my “why” has never wavered, even after years in business and working in an industry that’s often swayed by trends and fads. I’ve always stayed committed to creating work that is timeless, not something that will be out of style in a few years.
What truly sets me apart, though, is my personality and the way it integrates into both my work and my business. Clients often tell me that I make them feel completely at ease, almost as if we’ve been friends for years. This comfort is so important because it allows my clients to be themselves, and when they’re comfortable, that’s when the magic happens. The moments I capture are never forced—they’re real and authentic. I believe that creating a safe, relaxed space for my clients is key to making them feel confident and beautiful, and ultimately, that’s what results in photos that genuinely reflect who they are. That connection and trust is what makes my work stand out, and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe the most important quality to my success is resilience. Over the years, I’ve learned that the ability to adapt and push through challenges is what separates those who succeed from those who give up. In this industry, especially as a creative entrepreneur, there are inevitable highs and lows—times when things feel uncertain or when the path forward isn’t clear. What’s kept me going is my determination to stay focused on my “why” and to keep moving forward, even when the road gets tough. Resilience has allowed me to weather changes in the industry, balance personal challenges, and continue to evolve my craft. It’s what has fueled my growth, helped me stay true to my vision, and ultimately turned my passion into a successful, sustainable business.
