Today we’d like to introduce you to Nanthawat.

Hi Nanthawat, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

It all started when I lived in a condo that had an HOA that was not too fond of my front yard and told me I had to fix it. I started researching different plants and gardening styles and with pettiness in my heart towards the HOA, I tried to have the most overwhelmingly beautiful garden…which… didn’t happen. Fortunately, through intense research and trail and error I developed a passion which led me to immersing myself in the world of plants.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

The road is never going to be smooth or straight. Beyond seasonal financial panic, the plant business is fairly unpredictable especially after the Covid19 era when the plant industry got turned upside down with multifold price increases and sudden surge of influencers determining what is “hot” and what is “not”.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

While I’d love to say that I specialize in growing specific things, creating particular products, or doing something tangible, the truth is that my real expertise lies in simplifying complex concepts and processes to achieve success. I pride myself on being able to help people simplify tasks and processes, such as with plant care, and still get the desirable result they’re looking for.

What matters most to you?

What matters to me the most is that I can be able to be myself and giving myself the time to experience things this world has to offer. We spend half of our lives working and the other half sleeping.
One of the most significant realizations in my life came from observing a couple that I worked with for many years. The husband wanted to quickly sell the business and go explore the world, but the wife was determined to wait for a better offer for more than a decade. Sadly, the husband became seriously ill and passed away before they could make their move and shortly after, the wife passed as well, and neither of them got to experience the life they had dreamed of that was waiting for them.
