Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Taylor
Hi Krystal, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Believe it or not, I didn’t plan on being in the fitness industry 20 years ago. I actually have an MBA and a B.S. in Marketing. My journey into fitness started after I had my second son. Losing that baby weight was tough, so I started studying different ways to shed the pounds in a healthy manner.
In 2008, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and this really opened my eyes to the mental benefits of being healthy. During her battle (which she sadly lost in 2010), I found solace in running different races like 5Ks and marathons. Running wasn’t my strongest suit when I was in the Army, so these races were a personal challenge for me.
In 2014, I decided to test my strength and entered a figure competition. Before that, I had been creating workouts for friends and family just for fun, but that’s when people really started asking how they could work with me. Up until then, I had been doing it all for free, but I realized this was my passion.
My background as a trainer/coach spans my entire adult life. From my time in the Army to being an adjunct professor and a corporate trainer, each experience set me up to be the coach I was truly meant to be. Today, I help women lose weight without dieting or exercising for more than 30 minutes at a time, making fitness fun but not a game.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not. But that’s what makes the journey worthwhile, right?
Professionally, one of the biggest challenges is that everyone wants the amazing results I offer, but not everyone is ready to put in the work. I really have to focus on their mindset to show them that making small lifestyle changes can lead to huge benefits. It’s about breaking down those mental barriers and proving that it’s not too hard to start.
When it comes to the business side, it was really hard for me to start charging for my services. I believe everyone deserves to be healthy, but I had to realize that to help more people, I needed to charge a respectable rate. This way, I can afford to provide all the awesome benefits my clients get. I couldn’t go broke helping a few when my goal is to help so many.
Another struggle is the close relationships I develop with my clients. It’s tough to lose them, even though I don’t expect (or want) them to work with me forever. Each client’s journey is unique, and saying goodbye is never easy.
These challenges have shaped me into the coach I am today, always striving to find that perfect balance between providing top-notch service and maintaining a sustainable business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

What do I specialize in?
My specialty is creating efficient, effective workout routines that fit into busy schedules. I use tools like exercise playing cards and affirmation cards to keep things engaging and motivational. My clients appreciate that they can get great results without spending hours in the gym or feeling deprived by strict diets.
What am I known for?
I’m known for my friendly, relatable, and empathetic approach. My clients feel supported and understood, and they know they can count on me to be a straight shooter with information but without judgment. I create a welcoming environment where they can thrive.

I’m most proud of the positive impact I’ve had on the lives of my clients. Seeing women gain confidence, improve their health, and enjoy their fitness journey is incredibly rewarding. I love hearing stories about how they’ve not only lost weight but also gained a better quality of life.
What sets me apart?
What sets me apart is my holistic approach to fitness. I believe in addressing the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. My programs are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, meeting each client where they are and helping them progress at their own pace. Plus, my background in the Army, corporate training, and as an adjunct professor has equipped me with a unique skill set to coach and motivate others effectively.
In a nutshell, I make fitness accessible, fun, and impactful for women who want to improve their health without the hassle of traditional diet and exercise routines.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
When it comes to what has made me successful, I’d say the most important quality is my relatable personality and tone. I strive to be someone my clients can connect with on a personal level. They know I’m not just talking at them, but I’m right there with them, understanding their struggles and celebrating their victories.
Empathy plays a huge role in my work. I see each of my clients as individuals with unique needs and challenges. This allows me to tailor my approach to best serve them. I know when to ease up and when to lean in, providing the right balance of support and motivation.
Being relatable and empathetic has allowed me to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. They feel seen, heard, and understood, which makes all the difference in their fitness journeys. This connection is what fuels my passion and drives my success.
