Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasper Park.
Hi Kasper , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started making music in high school. I had a passion for poetry before. I found interest in the meaning behind words. Back in high school, I had to take a train across the city to get to and from. To pass the time, I would often just listen to music and relax. More times than not; the music I was listening to would pump me up or cool me down. I grew curious in what it would be like to make my own. Luckily, there was a producer in my grade wh allowed me to experiment, from there I just kept making music!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t. Most journeys aren’t smooth or linear. At times, it’s hard to keep going but what always helps me is remembering the progress I made, why I started in the first place, and what positives it has done for me and ones around me. Struggles like financial struggles and even health struggles I battle. The feeling like you don’t have the resources to bring your vision to life is common I believe. That doesn’t mean the vision isn’t worth the effort of bringing to life however.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I make music for dreamers, visionaries, and tommorow’s leaders. In a nutshell. Those who need a push as well a little escape.
