Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnny Felix

Hi Johnny , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

My name is Johnny Felix and my art character name is TALENTO reference as in TALENT. My hometown is Aurora, il which I share and enjoy my artwork through the community & with local artist. I started to draw & paint at the age of 9. Art has always been a meditation for me to be creative in my life. Baseball was mostly my passion and my primary dream to play in the Majors. Challenging myself was from baseball to learn how to fail and become successful. I use baseball to challenge my mindset into art to creative and innovative of projects never seen or to impact the communities by creating platforms, such as collaborations and donating to organizations. A popular trend I have created 2 yrs ago it’s called”URBAN PULSE” abstract line work that is from EKG heart monitor from the hospital. It was to commemorate my Mather n law passing away from cancer and to relate to the audience we all have a pulse in life in our journey. Accomplishments I have done in my art career so far…..

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

No matter what my path is good or bad I try to enjoy it. You have to appreciate the opportunities that are given to you and have fun and stay positive, putting the hard work is not easy, but if you enjoy your passion keep going and live the moment. I never let the struggle try to defeat me I always pursue to be positive and keep learning to become a full time artist in my career.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

My artwork I do a lot of different mediums and I also paint with different objects as well. I like to think out of the box to expand my creativity. My artwork is known for glow n the dark so most of my paintings you will see 2 in 1 painting. My paintings are always unique and different in the art world. What sets me apart is my talento of artwork that I’m creating the new genre of art and also showing different concepts of my artwork. Also each painting tells a quote to each piece and the quotes are actually the story about my journey in life to share to the audience to be motivated and be inspire in life.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?

People always know me as being creative and helping the community.
What they do not know about me is I love comedy and love to joke and tease my family members a lot.
