Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Barrett
Hi Isabella, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Isabella Barrett’s journey from the spotlight of “Toddlers and Tiaras” to entrepreneurial success is nothing short of extraordinary. At the tender age of 6, she made headlines as one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the United States. Her entrepreneurial spirit and keen eye for investment have propelled her to build a mini empire, earning her recognition on prestigious lists such as Business Insider’s 50 Brands to Watch and Yahoo’s Young and Rich 50 CEOs to Watch.
Investing in her future from an early age, Isabella directed her earnings into five different ventures, strategically positioning herself as a force in the business world. Her knack for identifying promising opportunities led three of her investments to become top sellers on Amazon, solidifying her reputation as a savvy angel investor.
As Isabella prepares to celebrate her 18th birthday, she stands at the threshold of a new chapter: taking the reins of House of Barretti, her own company. In a candid interview on the Sean Kelly Podcast, Isabella recently shared insights into the strategies that propelled her to financial success. She revealed how her initial success with Glitzy Girl, a brand synonymous with bracelets and bling tees, laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial endeavors. Selling an impressive 20,000 units per week at prominent conventions, Isabella quickly amassed wealth and expertise in the world of retail.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As she navigates the complexities of adulthood and business ownership, Isabella Barrett exemplifies resilience, foresight, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her story serves as an inspiration to young entrepreneurs everywhere, proving that age is no barrier to achieving greatness in the competitive world of business. When asked Isabella stated ” the biggest lesson I have learned is actions and alidades speak louder than words. Dont tell people your successful show them” Barrett went on to say when your young and successful most people think it was generational wealth , but remember the age of social media allows anyone to make money “.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
With your impressive achievements, what advice would you give to young entrepreneurs aspiring to reach similar heights?
My advice to all young kids with a dream is make 2 lists. A realistic goal list of what you can achieve now and a wish list of what you want no matter how big. Find something you love to do then build a business around it or get a job in that field . It’s much easier to make money when you love what you’re doing everyday. Also, there are so many free advertising platforms available to kids, teens, and adults today.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My family has played a huge role in my success without then I would not be where I am today.
