Today we’d like to introduce you to Francesca Delisle

Hi Francesca, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

Life has a way of stopping you in your tracks when you least expect it. My brother passed away suddenly at 36 and it completely stopped me in my tracks. It flipped my life inside out. When you hit that space of hurt and loss you either change or stay in that negative space of pain. This is where I chose to completely let go and give into whatever God was calling me to do. I had no goals, no plans, I left it all in the hands of the Universe and listened.
I tracked and followed every lead, every thought, every idea. MySyde was born after a few ideas. I would research and see if the idea had merit and viability. We had decided the idea we were working on didn’t have viability. And that’s where MySyde came to fruition. We talked about all the things we needed as consumers, as entrepreneurs, as people in a community. We talked to 100’s of people asking them what they needed from social media. We dug in deep to find out the different ways they connected with the community. How did they find what they were looking for? How did businesses connect to their buyers? We asked countless questions, so that we could build an app that connects the community, builds credibility, leverages networks, brings you face to face with your community. We built an app that has the power to help businesses thrive, connect the community through our calendar, and leverage our already built networks.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

It definitely has not been a smooth road. I don’t know if there ever has been a smooth road for a start up. I think our greatest struggle has been funding. We are a boot strapped operation starting a business in the midst of a recession. So we have been talking to everyone we can to get outside funding and that’s a whole other job. Still working towards it…and we will get there.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I have been a Personal Chef for over 10 years. I love how creative I can be. How I am able to feed someone’s body and soul. MySyde came about due to all of my work as a entrepreneur. All the marketing, word of mouth, getting my name out there. This is where the idea was born. As entrepreneurs we work so hard I wanted to hep other entrepreneurs. I wanted to be able to feed the world of entrepreneurs body and soul.

What are your plans for the future?

We are looking to expand the features we already have on the app. We want to be the ultimate stop for every community across this country to seek what they are looking for, to plan their events, and to truly connect to the community. We have an amazing plan in the future to incorporate AI into the app. So much to come. The time to get on is now!
