Today we’d like to introduce you to Empress Arce
Hi Empress, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
How I got started?… Well it’s not that simple, it all begins with an idea or a perception of your purpose. It all began with my love for literature that started it all. It opened up the possibility that there was more than what I saw around me. My imagination bred through plot and punctuation creating new beginnings in every moment. Once I began to write poetry and draw, a newfound ability of expression was discovered without saying a word.
Around the age of 19, I started my business officially selling all natural, vegan wellness products. Over time I continue to recognize my talents by offering my service through artistry. Even though I am still very young in the flesh, I have many aspirations that’ll be heard and felt by many.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well, you’d have to define a rough or smooth road. Each type of road plays its purpose in the larger scheme of things.
I feel that in my many years of adolescence into adulthood, there has been plenty of ups and downs that are relatively life-changing. In hindsight, I understand that every moment, good or bad, plays a role in your becoming. In every moment you are blossoming, now you must decide who you want to be and continuously come to be.
By embracing the road no matter the texture you make it to your destination in good spirits.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a multifaceted artist dabbling in painting on clothing and canvas, spoken word artist, photographer, and curator in the Connecticut area.
What sets me apart from others is my ability to assess, analyze and adjust through observation. I see my artistry as a constant evolution of my mind, my consciousness.
I am most proud of my ability to transmute my energy through creation.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Only advice I have is to believe in yourself more than anything else, and when in doubt or questioning your purpose simply CREATE.
Your gift and talent is what FREES you from society’s web of lies. Take your sword of satisfaction and express who YOU are UNAPOLOGETICALLY.
