Today we’d like to introduce you to Chuck Steele
Hi Chuck, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story starts out fairly simple. As a child growing up on a small farm in Eastern Wyoming. I was born in South Dakota and have a love of the Black Hills. We moved back and forth between Wyoming and South Dakota several times. My father was always chasing some sort of work.
My teenage years was spent in Casper Wyoming, graduating from one of the two high schools we have here. Again, standard teenage years. Hot rodding and cruising around with friends. Always working on cars and motorcycles and just living life carelessly it seems.
My adult life has been work based mostly. Taking time for my family first though. Working on my project called 307 Back Road Bikers Road, Rallies & Rides. A docu-series project put together as mentioned in a different article. Plus working on myself by hitting the gym and fueling myself properly!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have faced many challenges along the way to get to where I am today. From childhood to today, I have faced adversities and challenges and have always found resources and ways to overcome them.
A more recent example would be the unscripted reality show project I am working on. Trying to get people to talk to me or even respond to emails and phone calls has been a challenge enough and when they do, it’s usually something negative. Telling me my project has no legs or is not marketable.
I have had enough people tell me the word no. As well, I have had everyone from friends to family tell me that my ideas are no good. I do not however, let that stop me. I know in my heart my plans and ideas are solid. I know in my heart that one person out there will see me and love my ideas. I know that my dreams will be successful.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a creative, I live to write. When I put pen to paper, it does not stop. The story unfolds in front of me and there have been times I wasn’t even sure what was going to happen to my subjects! I wrote, planned and designed my current project. My unscripted docu-series. It is a travel adventure show based on the glory and adventure of motorcycle travel and everything that encompasses that niche.
I have several short films I am writing as well. One horror, one comedy, and one drama/action based. I am a trained professional actor and have been building my credits slowly. It is a tough industry to break into. I come with many skills and a distinct look and soon enough, I will be scooped up by someone for a project of theirs.
I am most proud of my determination. I refuse to quit; I refuse to listen to the negativity and the word no. I choose to succeed. I choose to win. Therefore, I simply will. There is no other options and I don’t want to retire doing what I am currently doing for my 401K job. The world needs me!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Never give up on yourself. Never give up on what you believe in. If you have something special in your heart and in your mind, reach for it. go get it and don’t ever stop. Build a solid team and foundation. I know for me I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for my sons and my very amazing lady in my life. She is my solid, my rock and her love and support alone has kept me going. Along with my determination and desire to succeed.
When you have that kind of support, anything is possible.
