Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Haley
Hi Christopher, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Honestly, I really didn’t take modeling serious until I saw someone from the area that had a particular Fashion brand deal in 2020 and I looked at the quality of his pictures and thought to myself “I know I can do a lot better than him if anything I can get one of these brands“, so literally a few days later, I reached out to a local photographer that I had have been admiring his work and we posted the shoot and then a lot of people had really gravitated towards it shockingly because I look back at it now and it was just a horrid photo shoot all in all lol
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
To be fair back in 2020 even with the pandemic, everything was just so organic and everything was just fallen in line between publications such as yourself reach out to different brands either locally or worldwide like Talley & Twine(Watch Company), AKOO, K-Swiss it had its place, but after my second child was born things definitely had slowed up a bit, but that was just from my own doing so I’m just now getting back to being more consistent and getting back to my creativity and so far is been very humbling the reception has been great so if it was the mental not trying to do anything to trendy, but just trying to be myself so that will be a difficult time
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My full-time job is an engineer for a Shipyard and it’s really a bunch of paperwork if anything, but I’m blessed to not have to be doing more physical work. I believe I’m known for modeling now a lot of people that don’t know me call me by my creative name, “Chase” it’s rarely “Chris” so that’s dope. I’m more proud of how I’ve always trusted myself when it came to doing photo shoot and picking the right photographers I don’t care what anyone says, but the relationship between the photographer and the model has to be organic, and it has to be almost symmetrical for the same goal
Lastly, was set me apart from a lot lot of models I believe is that I’m genuinely thankful for every opportunity to showcase a passion that I have for modeling and I get paid to do a hobby simply put
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
We live in the world where that the podcast sector has been overran a bit but here and there I listen to podcast, but I definitely have at least over 15+ blocks the one that I’m currently reading is by Robert Greene. It is called the human laws of nature.
