Today we’d like to introduce you to Chiara Candia

Hi Chiara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I have a degree in fine arts. I attended the Academy in Florence. My intention was to enter the teaching career. In the end, I did not succeed. During this trying I met Crosslances, which introduced me to the world of 3D printing.
He helped me to start my own company and he revealed the platforms where I could share my projects.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

The greatest difficulty is always to make yourself known to the public.
The success of the first project I published on kickstarter surpassed my expectations, but even after three years of hard work, I have to continue to grow as Hera’stone.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I make 3D prototypes concerning anything from miniatures for board games to furniture objects. Every new project is different from the previous one. I think this is the reason that makes me different from others.
I prefer to expand my horizons than to focus on one area.

What are your plans for the future?

I hope to grow more and more as a company and, as a consequence, have more economic stability.
