Today we’d like to introduce you to Artisa Felder

Hi Artisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I have always been passionate about empowering others. I believe my superpower lies in recognizing the potential in others that they may not see in themselves. I often think of it as simply giving others the support and encouragement that I would have wanted for myself during challenging times.

Journaling was an outlet for me after suffering from a mild form of postpartum depression after giving birth to my daughter. I was used to burying my feelings and sweeping my problems under the rug. After seeing how much I benefited from writing down my thoughts and releasing the negative energy I was harboring I wanted to share that with others and You Are by Artisa Marie and Alonni Camille was created.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Managing the demands of working multiple jobs while also being a full-time mother and striving to achieve my personal dreams has truly felt like a juggling act. One of my most significant challenges has been trying to strike a balance that allows me to excel in all areas of my life, while still feeling energized and prepared to nurture my creativity.

Starting out as a solo entrepreneur comes with its own set of challenges. One of the key hurdles is reaching a point where I can assemble a strong team and engage individuals who not only share our vision but also have the capacity to propel us forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

We specialize in providing positive outlets for adults and children, offering a safe space for them to express their innermost thoughts and empowering them to engage in the necessary work to heal from within. Our reputation stems from our ability to ignite hope, foster personal growth and healing, and motivate individuals to have faith in themselves. Our proudest achievement is receiving heartfelt gratitude from our customers, affirming the significant impact our products have had on their lives.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?

In life, success often involves taking risks. Without risk, there can be no reward. Sometimes, to set yourself up for the future, you have to take a leap of faith. Just like the song says, “You gotta know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, and know when to walk away.”

I understand that investing in my business is crucial for our future. While there’s always a risk involved, I am confident that the decisions I make today will ultimately benefit my daughter by setting her up for a better future.
