Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Luckey

Alyssa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

I grew up in rural Wisconsin, where I faced some challenging circumstances that made me very driven and motivated to help others who may be struggling. These experiences have given me a strong sense of empathy. I started my content creation journey during the pandemic, initially sharing personal stories. Over time, my content has evolved to focus on my everyday life, my pets, and important issues that need more attention. Authenticity is central to what I share, and it’s helped me build a supportive community.

In my professional life, I work in project management, handling complex projects that require strong leadership and communication skills. While I thrive in that structured environment, content creation gives me an outlet for creativity and a way to connect with others on meaningful topics.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been dealing with imposter syndrome. There are times when I question whether I’m good enough or if I belong in certain spaces, especially as I share personal stories and create content that reaches so many people. It’s hard to shake that feeling of self-doubt, even when I know logically that my work is meaningful.

On top of that, I’ve struggled with depression, which can make it hard to stay consistent with posting or to feel motivated at times. Creating content when you’re not feeling your best is tough, but I’ve learned to give myself grace and focus on authenticity. Some days I need to take a step back and recharge, and that’s okay. Ultimately, those struggles have made me more relatable and helped me connect with others who are going through similar challenges.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

My work centers around lifestyle content, where I share authentic glimpses into my life, from day-to-day moments with my pets to important topics that need more attention. In addition to my personal content, I also run a small business creating User Generated Content (UGC) and lifestyle photography for brands. This allows me to combine my passion for storytelling with a professional approach to content creation.

What I’m most proud of is how my work has encouraged others to be open about their own experiences. By staying true to myself, I’ve created a platform where real conversations happen and people feel seen.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend personal, relatable content with a professional eye for photography and branding. I’m not just creating content for myself; I’m also helping brands connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. This mix of personal storytelling and business creativity is something I’m really passionate about.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?

My biggest piece of advice for anyone starting out is to embrace authenticity from day one. Early on, I felt pressured to follow trends and present a version of myself that I thought people wanted to see, but that didn’t feel true to who I was. Once I let go of that, my content became much more meaningful, and I was able to connect with my audience on a deeper level. It’s okay if your journey looks different from others—what will set you apart is being genuine and sticking to what makes you unique.

Something I wish I knew when I started is that imposter syndrome and self-doubt are common, even for those who seem confident. You’re going to question your worth at times, but don’t let that stop you from sharing your story. Take your time, be kind to yourself, and focus on creating content that feels right for you, not just what you think others expect. Authenticity builds real connections, and those are the relationships that last.
