We love contrarians. We love hearing unique view points and so one of our favorite things to ask folks is for them to tell us something they believe that most people in their industry disagree with. Check out some of those responses below.

I wouldn’t say that most people disagree with my values however, I would say that I consider it one of the most important aspects of my business. I believe that great customer service is something I strive for while running my business day to day. I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve shopped in a small business or a larger corporation and have wandered around needing help and there was no one in sight. Or the amount of times I have asked an associate in a store for assistance and it feels like they couldn’t be bothered with helping me. It makes me not want to return to the store. Read more>>

In the hot sauce game, it’s all about how hot you can make it. Or is? I think at Mr.Mustachios Hot Sauce, we aim to elevate the food experience with heat, but with flavor to pair. Don’t get us wrong, SPICY hot sauces is where our passion for the condiment type started. What I think we noticed early on in our consumer lives, was that there more items on the store shelves that focused on heat level than flavor, and so we set out to partake in bringing the right heat level to each dish, with flavor as a central idea to each recipe. As a content creator, I started out just making ads for brands that they would use on their social media channels, and I was VERY reluctant to use the “I” word… influencer. I did this as a side hustle, and it grew beyond anything I could ever imagine. While many in Gen Z might aspire to become an influencer, and find it cool, for me it was a bit embarassing. So what I believe most people would disagree with is my stance on influencing. While I found it embarassing and borderline “cringe”, most (especially younger generations) find it cool. I will say, though, that I’ve gradually embraced the label, as transitioning from just making ad content to using my own social media channels to help brands promote their products truly is “influencing”, and it’s something I enjoy, as I only promote products that I truly believe in. Further, I’ve had the opportunity to help out many of my friends who are business owners, and that’s my favorite part of influencing. Read more>>

One thing a lot of people disagree with in this industry is GOD. I’m a firm believer of Jesus Christ and I stand on that, a hundred and ten percent. This industry doesn’t solidify God at all and I’m a huge instrument to his kingdom! Not saying I go around and shove Jesus down everyone’s throat , no no no !! A lot of people think it’s fine to seek their spirituality through false information but they need to find their spirituality through consistency & truth ! I don’t knock anybody for believing in what they believe in because I have been there myself but it takes a firm foundation to get into what’s already embedded in you. This industry is so demonic and so corrupt that if you don’t have God in your plans you will enjoy the enemy’s. Read more>>

Something we firmly believe in, which might be contrary to what many people in our industry think, is the tremendous value that millennials bring to the social media realm. Being millennials ourselves, we’ve personally witnessed how our generation is often underestimated, particularly in the professional world.
