I was blessed with a mission to help those around me to embrace their bodies where they are, while teaching the importance of LIVING OUT LOUD!!!
Seeing people being their truest self, looking their best, and accomplishing their goals successfully is my passion.
I am a Speaker, Producer, Radio Personality, Author/Writer, Artist (in many forms), and Fashion & Wardrobe Stylist……. I’m sure I left some things out but stick around and you’ll learn some other things about me!!!
I started my business as a stylist because as a full figured woman clothing was minimal, and that left us with no way to express our true individuality through style. As I have grown……so has my business which made me dig deeper, and expand my business to big and tall men as well in order to provide a plethora of services that was not only about the clothing but about the transformative emotional and spiritual power that clothing and the arts are capable of providing.
As I dived into the world of fashion, I recognized an opportunity to not only express myself but also to empower others who faced similar struggles. I then turned to podcasting to amplify voices that had long been marginalized. I launched my podcast, The Phat Girl Chronicles, with the intention of creating a platform where plus-size individuals could share their stories, challenges, and triumphs.
However, my journey didn’t stop there. Driven by a deep desire to catalyze change, I am determined to redefine the way plus-size individuals view themselves and are perceived by the world. Armed with my podcast and newfound styling expertise, I became a force of transformation.
I have come to realize that I have tapped into something far greater than myself and I plan to change the world with what I’m building. I truly see the potential to bridge the gap between media representation, personal style, and self-empowerment.
This entrepreneurial journey was ignited by a fusion of passion, purpose, and personal experiences on body positivity, self-love, and confidence-building.
My origin story serves as a beacon of inspiration for many. Through my determination and unwavering commitment, I am not only becoming an amazing entrepreneur but a catalyst for change within the plus-size community. My journey reminds us that entrepreneurship can be a powerful vehicle for reshaping societal norms and uplifting those who have been overlooked for far too long.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Creating The Phat Girl Chronicles podcast has certainly been an adventure with its fair share of challenges. The journey has been anything but smooth, with several obstacles to overcome.
One of the primary struggles has been keeping up with social media trends. The landscape of social media is constantly evolving, and staying relevant requires a lot of time and effort. Learning new platforms and apps has been a significant part of this process. Each platform has its own nuances and audience, and mastering them has been crucial for reaching and engaging with the community.
Building a community around the podcast has also been a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. It takes a lot of consistent effort to attract and retain listeners, create meaningful content, and foster a sense of belonging among the audience.
Another major hurdle has been assembling a team to help push the narrative of *The Phat Girl Chronicles*. Finding people who share the same vision and passion for the project and can bring their unique skills to the table has been a process of trial and error. Effective collaboration and communication are key, and it’s taken time to build a cohesive team that works well together.
Despite these challenges, the journey has been incredibly fulfilling. Each struggle has provided valuable lessons, and the support and feedback from the community have been immensely motivating.
