Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha Scott
Hi Tasha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always loved writing, and hip hop, so I started blogging for DJ B-Lord in 2009. In 2010 I started my own blog, SheBloggin.com. It garnered a lot of attention, especially from independent artists. After seeing how much help they needed, I started getting into public relations. Fast forward to today, I still run my blog, but now include more business related content, as well as women’s lifestyle. I also own Lotti Creatives LLC, where we do PR, branding and marketing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh definitely not. I definitely had moments when I wanted to quit. When you’re constantly trying to build, it’s never a smooth road. There’s always road blocks, but you have to know how to keep moving. When I first started booking interviews for my site, a lot of people didn’t give me the time of day, but after pushing through, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing some of the biggest names in music.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Lotti is a creative agency. We do a little bit of everything from public relations and marketing, to design and writing. We also provide design services for restaurants. I’m most known for my blog, and public relations. I’ve worked with tons of artists and entrepreneurs over the last 10 years. What sets us apart is we’re focused on helping people achieve their goals, and not money. Our rates are 40% less than the average agency. In the past I’ve worked with Da Baby, Gorilla Zoe, Trouble, and more.
