Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Riley
Hi Samantha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I opened my first business part-time in 1994 part-time while juggling a corporate job and raising two children under 2. I wanted more for them – more time, more opportunities, more everything and I realized that a traditional job just wasn’t going to cut it. So, within 12 months, I launched my second business and took the plunge into full-time entrepreneurship.
I had those businesses for 20 years alongside my husband and business partner. Until we decided to go our seperate ways in life.
At the time I had also just opened my third business which was in the health and wellness industry and I was being approached by people asking me to teach them about business.
It didn’t take long before I had multiple business coaching clients, and my time was being pulled in multiple directions. This was one of the hardest times in my life because it was the first time I’d been in business alone. However, I chose to see it as an opportunity to write the next chapter, and I decided that I wanted the freedom to run my business from anywhere with an internet connection.
So in 2011 I made the decision to focus fully on my coaching business, and have not looked back.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The life of a business owner is a roller-coaster, and there have been so many struggles along the way. From the mother guilt of being a working mom, to the struggles of pouring profits back into your business to fuel your business growth, to growing a team that will support you as you grow and scale.
But one that stands out, and it’s why I do what I do, is that I learnt very early on that the person who is known gets the business. It doesn’t matter if you have the best technical ability, you’ve done the most courses, or you have the best product, if you’re a well-kept secret, you won’t make the amount of sales you need, to keep the door open.
Losing potential clients to competitors can be extremely frustrating – especially when you know you are the perfect fit for them to work with you.
Ensure that you have a 24/7 marketing strategy in place to attract new buyers and to also nurture the prospects in your world until they’re ready to buy from you.
We’ve been impressed with Samantha Riley Global, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our company specializes in helping business owners to position themselves and their business to be the leader in their industry.
We provide both coaching and done-for-you services for our clients. We added the done-for-you services to our coaching program in 2020 as we noticed many entrepreneurs weren’t seeing the results from the coaching programs they were enrolled in because they were struggling with the technical aspects and time needed to implement the coaching strategies they were learning.
This means our clients are able to invest more time into building their brand, which is what they love to do, and less time wearing all the other hats.
