Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Sturtevant
Hi Kelly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Back in 2017, I was returning to the workforce after being a stay-at-home mother for the past 10 years. I knew I didn’t want to go back to a corporate desk job, so I looked into ways I could stay home and bring in a little bit of extra money for our family. This led me to learning about online businesses and I soon started my own business, Blue Page Social Inc.
I first started working as a Virtual Assistant, helping businesses with odd tasks like data entry, blog writing and SEO optimization. But I learned quickly these were skills I really didn’t like to be doing. I knew that in order for my business to be successful, I needed to be doing things that gave me joy and purpose, not just a paycheck. After all, if I wanted just a paycheck I could go back to a full-time J-O-B.
After a few months of odd tasks, I stumbled upon social media management and pivoted my business into managing social media accounts for clients. By learning organic social media, I soon saw the crossover into paid marketing. Over time, began to slowly transition into offering Facebook ads to clients and phased out social media management.
Over the next few years, I worked with dozens of businesses ranging from online coaches, to travel agents, to real estate, to service providers and even a few ecommerce shops, helping them increase their reach and revenue through ads.
I also started taking on coaching and consulting work, helping businesses and social media managers learn Facebook ads for themselves. This led to my own community, The Pocket ADvisor which supports these businesses in their own ads learning journey. Something which I still teach today.
In 2022, my business went from being a supplemental income source to the only income source after navigating a divorce from my husband. The years I spent honing my skills, gaining experience and knowledge allowed me to confidently step into the sole breadwinner role to support myself and my kids.
But once again, I started to feel the pull to something bigger and slowly started to transition my business from 1:1 client work towards more coaching and consulting opportunities.
In 2023, my world changed again as I dealt with the sudden illness and loss of my mother within the first few months of the year. But I had created a business model that gave me the freedom to be where I needed to be, with my mom and my family in her final weeks of life. This solidified all of the reasons why I became a business owner, and why I designed a business that worked for me and my life, not the other way around.
Today I run a successful consulting and coaching business, helping businesses with everything from Facebook ads, to mindset and accountability and how to structure their own ecosystems with products and services at all levels.
My business has taken me to all parts of the world, from Greece to Hawaii, Florida and California attending masterminds and conferences, meeting with like minded business owners to connect and share and grow together. It has allowed me to be at home with my kids, to travel more with them and to be more present in their lives and my own.
Being a business owner hasn’t always been easy, and the journey is continuously filled with ups and downs, but it’s been a hell of a ride.
And I wouldn’t change it for anything.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Dealing with a divorce in 2022, the loss of my mother in 2023, and the loss of my grandmother in 2024 were probably the biggest struggles I ever encountered in life, let alone in business. Having to still show up and run a business while grieving all kind of loss and heartache was truly gut wrenching to do. Learning how to lean into others more, have grace with myself and understand what was truly important to me were some of the hardest things I had to do.
Confidence and Imposter syndrome often were challenging, especially during the times I transitioned into new skills and services. These also reared their ugly head when clients would leave or proposals were rejected. Having to constantly hear No’s and knowing you still had to push forward until you got the Yeses often felt draining and overwhelming, especially when bills were due or contractors needed to be paid.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Blue Page Social Inc.?

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is being able to be available to my kids, my family & friends when they need me while enjoying a business I love to work in. Success is being free to explore new opportunities, expand my knowledge and skills freely and to help others get to the same level. Success is seeing my coaching students thrive with their clients, seeing them build out new offers and services with confidence and knowing I played a small part in their success
