Today we’d like to introduce you to Julia Kelly

Hi Julia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

I began back in 2021 as a junior in high school with big dreams of having my own business. I really wanted to connect with others and create products that my customers would enjoy! I also – at the time – just loved stickers! I loved the different designs of stickers and how stickers can describe you as a person. From there, I took all the knowledge that I had and began with my business! Here I am in 2024 running a business while also a freshman in college.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Honestly, it has been an up and down kind of road! In the beginning, it was slow but then my etsy began to takeeee off. Once it took off, I was getting at least 3 orders a day. This was during grad season! After grad season it was slow and would occasionally pickup. I now only do tshirts since I am in college, but I am part of a club where student creators can sell their products around campus.

My brand is mostly stickers with the occasional stationary or clothing! I create custom stickers and other stickers for people!

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?

I like how I am so familiar with my city! Richmond is very big but there are great connections within Richmond. Honestly, I have no dislikes for Richmond at all.
