Her journey began during a challenging period in her life when she used makeup to cover visible signs of abuse. Like any startup, we’ve faced obstacles that have tested our resilience and determination. One of the most significant struggles we encountered early on was establishing credibility in a competitive industry dominated by established brands. Building trust with consumers and gaining recognition for our products required strategic marketing efforts and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, as a survivor of domestic violence, navigating the emotional complexities of my personal journey while simultaneously building a business presented its own set of challenges. It was important for me to strike a balance between sharing my story authentically and maintaining professionalism in the business realm. Moreover, sourcing sustainable and ethical materials for our products posed logistical challengers. We had to carefully vet suppliers and ensure that our production processes aligned with our values of environmental responsibility and cruelty-free practices. This commitment to sustainability has been a core aspect of our brand identity, but also required careful planning and investment. Despite these obstacles, each challenge has been an opportunity for growth and learning. We’ve emerged stronger and resilient, with a deeper understanding of our mission and purpose.
