Hi Hanna , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In July of 2020, right in the middle of the global pandemic, Adriana Luna and I founded She Rises Studios. We saw a crucial need to help women across the globe who were facing unprecedented challenges. Our mission at She Rises Studios is to inspire, empower, and educate all women, especially those navigating the most impossible situations. We teach them how to persevere with hope, strength, education, and unstoppable fearlessness.

My journey to this point has been deeply personal and challenging. In 2017, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable blood cancer. This diagnosis profoundly shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for empowering other women. I wanted to create a platform where women could find support, education, and celebration of their growth.

She Rises Studios has become the next global network of empowered women leaders. We believe that the future is female and that we are stronger together. We are committed to educating and celebrating women’s growth, fostering a community where every woman can thrive.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, I am an author, speaker, and the founder of the Brave & Beautiful Blood Cancer Foundation. My focus is to empower other women to become leaders, because I truly believe that the future is female.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not. The journey has been filled with numerous challenges and struggles.

One of the significant hurdles we faced was hiring the right people. Building a team that shares our vision and passion was crucial, but it wasn’t easy. We had to ensure that every individual we brought on board was not only skilled but also aligned with our mission to empower women. This process was time-consuming and often involved tough decisions.

Financial management was another major challenge. Ensuring that our finances were in order, especially during the early stages of She Rises Studios, required meticulous planning and a lot of learning on the go. We had to be strategic about our spending, make smart investments, and often had to stretch our resources to their limits to make things work. Balancing the budget while trying to grow and expand our reach was no small feat.

Maintaining good relationships while growing the organization was also a struggle. As we expanded, it was essential to keep our community engaged and ensure that we were meeting their needs. We had to constantly communicate with our members, listen to their feedback, and make adjustments accordingly. It was a delicate balance between managing growth and maintaining the personal touch that makes She Rises Studios unique.

Despite these challenges, we persevered. Every obstacle we faced taught us valuable lessons and made us stronger. The journey has been anything but smooth, but it has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing the impact we’ve had on women’s lives and knowing that we’re making a difference keeps us motivated and driven to continue our mission.
