Today we’d like to introduce you to Ernestine Hopkins

Hi Ernestine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

As a proud former educator, my journey began while teaching middle school English, where I encountered students facing significant challenges such as low self-esteem, abuse, depression, having parents in prison, gang involvement, drug abuse, or coming from broken homes. Seeing these struggles firsthand, I was inspired to provide hope and support. This led me to write the book, “Saving Myself From Me” and to facilitate the Girls Who Conquer conference, which aimed to offer hope to teens across San Antonio, TX.

My experience in education illuminated my passion for providing hope and healing to those in need. Pursuing this passion further, I am currently fundraising to turn my book, “Saving Myself From Me” into a film titled, “Redemption Train”, and I am working on an Overcoming Addiction documentary. With certifications in Life Coaching and Trauma Debriefing, I began offering coaching services to empower women to find their voice, overcome adversities and trauma, helping them become the best versions of themselves.

In 2023, after healing from infidelity in my marriage, I shifted the focus of my coaching program for women to this topic. It has been an honor and joy to see women find God, hope, and healing after infidelity.

Additionally, I co-host The Marriage Altaer Podcast, where we empower individuals through wisdom and experiences to grow stronger in relationships and marriage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

For the most part, the road has been surprisingly smooth. As I followed the voice of God, doors that I expected to be difficult to open have opened with ease. Balancing my roles as a proud wife and mother while pursuing my passions has certainly been challenging, requiring me to manage all aspects of my life effectively. However, I am and will continue to be up for the challenge. Although I have not yet met the fundraising goal for “Redemption Train”, I believe wholeheartedly that the right door will open in God’s timing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Ernestine Hopkins Consulting’s mission is to empower women to find their voice, overcome adversities and trauma, and become the best versions of themselves. I achieve this through various platforms, including the Ernestine Hopkins Consulting YouTube channel, the Marriage Altaer Podcast, which I co-host, my online course, and a group coaching program specifically designed for women healing from infidelity in their marriages. This program guides women toward a renewed mind, personal growth, a deeper relationship with Christ, and readiness to fight for their marriage and peace.

I am also known for my devotional on Amazon and the YouVersion Bible App called, “I Stayed: Healing Past Hurt, Betrayal, and Infidelity”, which has over 21,000 subscribers. What sets me apart is my use of personal experiences and biblical principles to guide the healing process. My group coaching program includes the workbook version of my devotional, nine group coaching sessions, one-on-one coaching sessions with me, access to a private community group chat for mutual support, a healing mentor for eight weeks, and a certificate of completion.

Brand wise, I am most proud of the consistency and flow throughout my brand. I specifically chose colors that evoke feelings of abundance, peace, refreshment, and security. I want people to know that there is hope after infidelity and they will experience abundance and peace again! If they are on a healing journey following infidelity, my devotional, online course, and group coaching programs are designed for them.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?

No matter what you’ve experienced, done, or what has happened to you, brighter days are coming. Healing and joy are on the other side of your fight. When I say “fight,” I don’t mean your struggles, but rather your determination to fight for the future you want to see. Never stop fighting, never give up. Capture thoughts that stop your hope, joy, and peace, and push forward to a future better than you could ever imagine. You’ve got this, and never forget, you’re not fighting alone because God is with you!
