Owning a business is challenging – from increasing costs, regulations, competition and more the day to day of being a business owner if often far from glamorous. However, the reason so many of us do what we do is the moments when we are able to come through in a big way for our clients. The moments when we know we’ve made a real difference. Every entrepreneur we know wants to increase the frequency of those moments and so we think one of the best ways to do that is by having people share their stories with others – we can all learn from each other and become better recognizing and executing on opportunities to help our clients win.

One of my favorite stories to tell comes from the second year we were in business. There was another similar company in Atlanta that was having some difficulties in their business. I believe the owner of that company was experiencing burnout and did not enjoy the work anymore. On this particular morning, I received a text message from that business owner asking if Ariel could cover a party for them. The biggest fear in my work is a child expecting their idol to show up to their special day just to be left disappointed when that character doesn’t arrive. Read more>>

Carlos, appreciate you joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken. Spoonabilities in general has been a risk for us. We’ve been consistently putting our own money into the business, waiting for the day we can have the money flow the other way. As we’ve grown, we’ve taken risks by changing the website a few times, hiring SEO experts, web designers and graphic designers. None of the risks have ever panned out the way we expected, but none of them have been a bad experience either. Read more>>

I’ve been blessed with countless success stories from my clients but my most impactful has to be my client who started training with me at 318 pounds and after 22 months of consistent training and eating clean we were able to achieve a 100lb weight loss goal to 218. I never seen someone work so hard towards a goal! It inspired not only me but so many others around us. She became unrecognizable but still maintained her same spirit from when she started, it was definitely a defining moment for me as a trainer. We did that! Read more>>

In my line of work, for those that may not know, we have a thing call entities, or spirits, these said things tend to inhabit ones’ home at times, and that’s where I come into the picture! My job as a beginner curandera is to not only heal the body, but also help heal the home. A couple of months back, I had a client who called me needing my services because she had recently moved into a new home and there had been some really weird things happening. The day came when it was time to do a house limpia, I gathered my things, knocked on the door and next thing I know its 3 hours later. Read more>>

I began training Kalen Jones in 2019 as one of my first full-time students. He was a 10th grader from Eastlake High School who was very small and skinny at the time. He had a ton of potential as I saw his leg was very explosive. We trained weekly for hours at a time, working the small details of our craft and breaking down his film on the field was a huge help to his development. He was the starter of Varsity that upcoming season but due to COVID, the team didn’t do as well as we planned. His senior year was incredible, averaging 49 yards per punt and connecting on a 47 yard field goal. He is currently committed to play football at UCLA and has a very strong chance of starting next season. Read more>>
