Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony A.
Hi Tony, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Imagine a single question: a fleeting moment, altering the course of your life forever. That’s how The Pharaoh came to life. A name whispered into creation during a summer evening. A name that would slowly reverberate across countries all over the world. From that spark, a journey began – a whirlwind of encounters with titans like DJ K-Yung and Troy Taylor. Each a key moment, each a catalyst. Every handshake, every late-night editing session fueled a relentless pursuit. I kept pushing the boundaries of what I could do while trying to form some type of global connection. From endless meetings, long solo drives and more, I pushed myself to try different sounds and connect with people everywhere. Even as my music started to take off, I stayed focused on learning, spending years finishing my audio production studies. The world listened and wanted more. T The Pharaoh’s story is about passion, hard work, and how one moment can change your life, just like mine.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
“Time and money are always tough. You’re either working to earn, or using time to learn something you love, hoping to make money from it later. That’s a problem everyone understands. But there’s another cost, one people don’t expect: losing those close to you. The more time you invest in your music dreams, some friends, close people, even family, might drift away. It’s a hard truth, a sacrifice. But if music is truly important to you, if it’s something inside you that connects you to this world, hold on it with everything you can
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Imagine complex stories to describe everyday emotions, through lyrics, instruments, the very fabric of the audio itself. That head space, is T The Pharaoh’s’ creative domain. It’s a space where the boundaries between the vividly imagined and the tangible begin to fade. Where audio engineering becomes a form close to pure creation. And the visual element? It’s the lens through which hidden layers are revealed. A narrative woven from sound and light; a world waiting to be uncovered.
The many years spent in school learning both audio & video production were worth it.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I think the best think you can do when networking is keeping an open mind about the people you are talking too. You have to remember that even if someone doesn’t share the same views as you, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ever work with them. Allow people to show you who they are by their actions as well as what they say
