Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Halle.
Hi Thomas , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been writing stories my whole! But it wasn’t until I went to college that I started taking it more seriously.
It was having a hard time finding my place in the world, I didn’t what profession I wanted to pursue. Truth be told, I didn’t know much about myself. I knew that I loved films. I gave it a shot and never looked back since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think it ever is. We all struggle, it simply cannot be avoided. Financially, emotionally, you name it. But it also builds character and a certain endurance. Struggles are not a waste. They’re a necessity, in my opinion.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a writer, director and producer in films and audio dramas. Most recently, our audio drama ‘Cabin Tales’ was renewed for a third season, which is amazing! In terms of films, I am currently producing a feature film called ‘The Red Box Project’. A horror film coming in 2025.
I’m quite proud of the awards and nominations I’ve been given over the years? For my scripts on Cabin Tales, but also its audio design which has won a Signal Award in 2024.
I don’t like the term ‘set apart’, but I am confident in my skills and what I can bring to a story. I pay attention to details, I live and breath cinema.
How do you define success?
It comes in many shapes and forms. Success is happiness. It’s being in a place of comfort. It’s not about the money or the fame. Trust your instincts, and keep pushing for that dream. Success will surely come along the way.
