Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Parker

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

I set a Goal to change the outcomes of my life seems like forever ago and every since I’ve been focused on forward Progression. Constantly researching and learning assisted me with being able to incorporate different aspects of creativity into my brand

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

It hasn’t been Smooth but has been very worth it. I’ve faced discrimination based on my race, my age group, and my position inside the industries I’m in. I’ve been denied Opportunity, Access to book venues locally, I’ve been targeted by cliques and leaders locally for my different outlook, outspoken demeanor, and constant determination to move forward to my next goals. Throughout it all I never lose sight of what I’m after and how hard I need to push in order to accomplish the goals set Infront of me. Overlooking the negative and believing in my own positive abilities to assist myself and others while steering clear of the roadblocks has been tremendously great.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

Some of the things I do, Booking Agent, Global Distribution for artists, Magazine Placement, Radio platform placement, Music business, knowledge and education, promotion and advertising. I’ve been in Affiliation with over 100 different companies in various industries from Food production companies, down to Home Gutters companies. I’m currently back into beat production and looking to step back I to Artist Management

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?

Never give Up your Fight, Everything is going to come your way when you’re trying your hardest and giving it all you have the ability to give. In those time we are tested the most I believe in order to allow us to grow our determination, resiliency, and prepare to handle the next set back or hard time. Not giving up and seeing things through to completion has been a big lesson for me. Family, Friends, Hometown buddies won’t always be there for you when you really need help or assistance so you must surround yourself with the right mindset of people who can be that extra voice of reasoning when things aren’t going as well as you would like them too.
