Today we’d like to introduce you to Natsuko Amano
Hi Natsuko, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was a child, I already into painting, and I especially like to paint manga characters.
I still remember that the moment when I paint a character face on my friend’s nails for the first time. Actually it wasn’t terrible, even honestly I felt better than other nail techs. So since then, I set my specialize for making character nails. I love to do that for my client and make them happy.
But recently I’ve been trying to get new level. Which is making my original art. I also love to paint portraits, so my next step is, painting it with my own style. It’s so complicated, but more exciting.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It sometimes hard to be a good nail artist because how my clients feel about the nails is the most important. If I like it, but my client said no, it’s not a good nails.
But in the end it makes me study, and practice harder. So that’s why now I can have my confidence.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love to do custom nails especially pet portraits and caricatures because it’s complicated and deep. The impression would be change by even just few milli meter. So I have to be consecrated.
I believe that having something you love on your nails is so fun and sometimes it has a lot of meaning for people. For example one of my clients asked me to get her pets portraits that passed away last weeks. I’m proud of it if my nails make peoples feeling just a little better.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My dad loves old movies, and I grew up watching classic movies with him. Mostly Horrywood movies such as “Casablanca”, “The Great Escape” or ”One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.
I was dreaming that one day I would be living other countries and work globally.
