Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Shaw

Hi Michelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I went from being a staying at home mom who felt a little lost, I found myself again, as I did that I was able to pursue my love and passion and makeup!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Not at all! However, I think this is how millionaires and successful entrepreneurs are made! Through hardships and struggle. Some things I faced were landing paid gigs, I worked a lot for free, drove far, faced setbacks and uncertainties, Childcare for entrepreneurs has been a huge struggle as an entrepreneur! There are just not enough resources for us. Sometimes my children have had to come with me on jobs!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

I specifically specialize in natural beauty as a makeup artist! I love enhancing and building my clients up with the beauty they already have! What sets me apart is the ability to read my clients and build connections on a personal level. I love hearing my clients stories and focusing my attention to elevated looks that allow my clients to feel empowered while still looking like themselves.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?

The best thing is to really focus on things that calm your mind, this for me is focusing on self-care and watching lots of makeup tutorials on YouTube!
