Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Lentz
Hi Michael , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began playing music at age 14. I was into rock and folk at the time and did not think much about DJs. However after learning about rhythm and hip hop I gained appreciation for DJs. I decided to get into this business after my wedding. The DJ at my wedding made the night incredible and I want to give couples the same feeling of awe and sublime satisfaction everyone deserves on their wedding night.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a slow but steady road. It all seems determined by how much energy I am willing and able to put into the business. At times where the business is stagnant I am not putting much effort into the business and when the business is booming I am putting in extra effort. The biggest struggle has been juggling family time with the business. I have a wife and daughter so weekends are pretty cherished around a school schedule. Working weekends forces me to reprioritize my time during the week.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a classically trained musician with years of DJ experience who uses his love of music to keep a dance floor moving behind the DJ booth. My signature style is to blend a wide array of musical genres together to keep a broad audience happy. I will bring my professional experience DJing in clubs, weddings, and private parties to any event with fun, fresh professionalism. I custom tailor my playlists to suit any type of event and music tastes. I understand the energy of any event, whether it is a small, private wedding or large house party, and provide a tasteful soundtrack to go along with the appropriate flow of the occasion.
What were you like growing up?
I was a reserved kid, but I always was interested in exploring music. I specifically made friends with older kids so I could learn more about music from them. When I wasn’t listening to music I was most likely hiking around the woods behind my house or reading.
