I started my journey in promotional modeling over eight years ago, working at trade shows in Las Vegas. Breaking into the industry wasn’t easy—Las Vegas is a hub for high-profile events, and standing out required more than just showing up. I quickly learned that success came from engaging with attendees, building genuine connections, and proving to brands that I was someone worth rebooking.
Through consistency and professionalism, I secured long-term clients, some of whom I still work with today. Over time, my work expanded beyond trade shows, leading to opportunities in print modeling, acting, and even judging pageants. When the pandemic disrupted the industry, I adapted by working with brands remotely—supporting digital events, content creation, and online promotions. This transition also deepened my expertise in event marketing and digital strategies.
Now, my career blends promotional modeling, event marketing, and digital promotions. I’ve had the opportunity to represent major global brands, travel for events, and navigate the evolving landscape of marketing and brand engagement. Each new experience has shaped my expertise, and I look forward to continuing to evolve in this fast-paced industry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has been a learning experience. In the beginning, securing consistent work in such a competitive industry was tough. I had to network strategically, prove my value at every event, and build a strong reputation to gain repeat clients.
The biggest challenge came when the pandemic shut down live events. With trade shows on hold, I had to rethink my approach and pivot to digital opportunities. That period pushed me to explore new ways to work with brands—creating content, supporting online promotions, and finding innovative ways to stay relevant. It was an uncertain time, but it also opened doors I hadn’t previously considered.
Like any career, there have been ups and downs, but adaptability has been key. Each setback has ultimately led to growth, new opportunities, and a stronger understanding of the industry’s ever-changing landscape.
