Kenia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?

I was born in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, but it wasn’t until 2017, in Mérida, that I began my journey in the world of makeup. Beauty has always been my passion, but it was there where I took my first steps as a professional makeup artist.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible brands such as Aprés Beauty, Jess Beauty, and Thayers, among others. My journey has been a path full of learning and growth, starting as a content creator on social media to share my passion. This allowed me to connect with people and brands that share my love for beauty.

Today, I specialize in creative and natural makeup, blending my personal style with the latest trends. The support of my family and community keeps me motivated. My goal is to continue inspiring others to follow their dreams and embrace their unique beauty.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has made me stronger and helped me grow both personally and professionally. One of the biggest challenges was moving to a new country three years ago due to the political situation in Venezuela. Starting over in an unfamiliar place without an established network was tough.

Balancing my career as a makeup artist with motherhood has also been a challenge, especially after the arrival of my second daughter. However, it was during that time that I decided to reconnect with my passion for makeup and start creating content. At first, it wasn’t easy to gain visibility or confidence, but with effort and dedication, opportunities began to come my way.

Despite the difficulties, every obstacle has motivated me to keep going. These tough moments have taught me resilience and to value every step of the journey.

My work as a makeup artist focuses on highlighting each person’s unique beauty, helping them feel confident and beautiful. I specialize in creative and natural looks, blending my artistic style with the latest makeup trends. I am also a content creator, sharing tips, techniques, and collaborating with beauty brands to showcase innovative products.

What I’m most proud of is building a career from scratch, facing challenges, and staying true to my passion. Collaborating with well-known brands and being an ambassador for a brand I admire are accomplishments that mean a lot to me.

What sets me apart is my personalized approach; I listen to my clients’ needs to create looks that reflect their style and personality. Additionally, my experience as a content creator allows me to stay up to date with trends and connect with a community that shares my love for beauty.

How do you think about happiness?

What makes me happiest is seeing the joy and confidence that a great look can bring to people. I love when my clients look in the mirror and feel that their beauty stands out in a special way. It also makes me happy to share my passion and knowledge through social media and receive messages from people who feel inspired by my work.

In addition, my family is a big source of happiness and motivation. They support me unconditionally and give me the strength to keep going in my career and daily life. Being able to balance my professional and personal life, and seeing my daughters grow up happy and healthy, is what truly brings me joy.
