Today we’d like to introduce you to Keezy Keese
Hi Keezy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started making music when I was in 3rd grade, rapping on the bus with my friends. I was influenced by Eazy-E, Lil Wayne, Nappy Roots, Nelly, and Bow Wow. When I got to High School I met a friend who introduced me to Mixed Craft a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to record and produce music. Everyday when I came home from either school or work I would make a song and constantly listen to Lil Wayne and try to make songs like him. My favorite songs are P***y Money Weed, and Sky Is the Limit.
When I graduated from Ben Davis High School I decided that I needed to have income to support my dreams. So I decided to pursue an Engineering degree. After 6 long years in college I finally graduated with a Purdue University Computer Engineer degree.
I used my money to help me connect with people to teach me more about making music such as Mixing and Mastering my own music to increase the quality. With this learnt skill, I am now running my own studio called OD1 Studios a sub company from my main Record Label Only Day 1 (OD1 Music). Every Year since then I’ve been building my team and making my money work for me.
By constantly working on my craft I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jeremih the (Birthday Sex) singer and also FreshDuzit a platinum producer who works with NLE CHOPPA and other various artist in the industry. With this strategy of consistency the team I am building will be the next group to do it big in the industry.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest struggles pursuing my music career is Loyalty, Trust, and Passion, Which are my core values of my Only Day 1 company. It is very hard to find people with these attributes, so when you do, build with them.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a recording artist form Indianapolis and I also run a studio called OD1 Studios. OD1 Studios is responsible for Mixing and Mastering other artist music including myself, but also the company builds websites. Utilizing all of the gifts God gave me is how I am able to continue building my universe.

I have a new album called Professionally In Love (Link Below) and I also have a new music video called Pretty Pink Pallet (I am sure you all would enjoy that one!).
I also have a merch store that I’ve built myself called OD1 Gear and about to launch a new style for the ladies!
