Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Carlucci
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was a chef and restaurateur for three decades. I absolutely loved it. Like an affair. The long hours, the grind, all of it.
Then there was a tipping point in my life. Newly a single parent to a very small child and strangely out of love with the food industry for the first time since I was 18 years old.
I tried for a long time to get another job going. I couldn’t even get a barista job! The universe was definitely trying to tell me something.
There was one thing I could do as well as cook and that was psychic work. I knew I had this capacity since I was 7 years old.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is never easy even when it’s the right thing to do but I knew I was onto something when I rather quickly started making money giving psychic readings. I had to lean into it. I had a child to raise and a big change of life.
My biggest struggles at first had to do with identity. Everyone loves a chef. Not everyone loves a psychic—-or at least takes them seriously.
I had to know I took me seriously first and foremost.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a psychic medium and medical intuitive.
On one side of this I give the more traditional psychic readings. Messages from those who have passed over, projections of the future.
My first awareness at age 7 was that I could see the medical sides of readings. Now, I work with doctors.
I do not consider myself a healer by any means but I am able to help guide my clients to the appropriate doctor or give them the language that might help in communicating with their medical professional.
When I work with doctors I help in the diagnosis.
How do you think about luck?
I think life is one half “the harder I work, the luckier I get” and one half what privilege you’re born with.
If I feel there is a goal I need to obtain for my profession I’ll do anything, no matter how small, to show that I’m Interested/lean me in that direction/learn from my mistakes.
Luck does play a big part and when I’m at my best, I’m always ready for good luck to happen.
