Hi Donnie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Donnie Jordan Tipton, CEO/OWNER OPERATOR of UNCLE BROTHER’S MOVING SOLUTIONS LLC. My wonderful journey of being an entrepreneur and business owner started 4 years ago during COVID-19 on July 15th, 2020. My company has gone through many transitions, so to still be standing as a thriving business that began during a time of great uncertainty is nothing but a blessing. In times of reflection, I think back to our very first move and to see the growth at this exact moment is amazing. Our skills in staging, packing, wrapping, and hauling have progressed and we continue to strive to be better.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As stated before, transitions, challenges and obstacles happen in every business. One specific challenge our company has had to navigate is providing our customers top quality care at rates that are competitive but fair. You see, market prices have increased since 2020 and like all businesses we have also had to adjust. Nevertheless, we are still BBB ACCREDITED and an AWARD WINNING COMPANY, and our clientele continues to grow.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Uncle Brother’s Moving Solutions LLC is a FAITH based company. It starts with me, the CEO/OWNER OPERATOR, Donnie Tipton, and how I carry myself as a God Fearing Man Of God. I understand that everything that has happened with this company has been God’s Will and He has not taken His hands off this business. I know this because we are still standing strong! As a company we keep the pressure on ourselves to be the best and strive to get better with the craft of taking care of customers, families, households and all the precious belongings during their moves. Moving, regardless of the reason, is one of the most stressful tasks for customers and we make it our personal mission to do our best to alleviate the stress.
Whether it’s staging, residential moving, commercial moving, junk hauling, event set up and break down, our customers understand when U.B.M. Solutions LLC. is on their unique assignment they are always in good hands. We work with a sense of urgency and efficiency. Not to mention, our team has a special way of bringing joy, laughter, and they will pray for you on the spot. Additionally, we are a FLAT RATE company. We believe that the cost of your move should never be a surprise. There are enough things to worry about during a move and the price should never be one of them.
How do you define success?
Uncle Brother’s Moving Solutions LLC defines success through what God does for the business and the blessings he continues to give us. For example, being featured in this magazine for the 3rd time is something we would describe as success. Success is also having a returning customer rate of about 90%! When customers choose to return to us to take care of their unique assignments, it confirms that the service we are providing is top tier. The ability to get after it day by day, getting to see the smiles on our customers’ faces, and hearing them say “no one has ever taken care of their belongings like U.B.M.” is a SUCCESS.
