Today we’d like to introduce you to CR Cho.
Hi CR, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Driven by a passion for photography and art, I moved to NYC to immerse myself in its vibrant creative scene. What started as capturing still moments soon evolved into a deeper exploration of storytelling through video. The city’s energy and ever-changing landscape became both my inspiration and my canvas, pushing me to blend visuals with digital narratives. Today, as a video content creator, I continue to experiment, create, and connect, constantly finding new ways to bring stories to life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t a smooth road in the beginning. Moving to a new city on my own, without friends or a support system, was challenging. NYC can be exciting but also overwhelming, and breaking into the creative industry wasn’t easy. My work often went unnoticed at first, and there were moments of doubt, wondering if I had made the right choice. But over time, I kept pushing—creating, learning, and putting myself out there. Slowly, opportunities started to come, and I found my place in the creative community. The struggle made the journey even more meaningful.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m all about bringing creativity to life through videography, social media, marketing, and creative tech. Whether it’s shooting a story, building a brand online, or experimenting with new media, I love finding fresh ways to connect with people visually. Being an NYU student, a content creator, and running a startup keeps me constantly learning and creating. What sets me apart is my ability to blend storytelling with emerging tech, making content that not only looks good but also feels meaningful. I’m most proud of the moments when my work resonates—when a video sparks emotion, a campaign takes off, or an idea turns into something real.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to keep going. The beginning is always the hardest—feeling unseen, facing setbacks, and questioning if it’s worth it. But consistency is everything. Keep creating, keep putting yourself out there, and trust the process. If there’s something you’re passionate about, start now. Do what you love while you’re young because time flies, and you don’t want to look back wishing you had just gone for it.
