Hi Cloe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Sure! My journey into painting began unexpectedly during the COVID-19 pandemic. I found solace and inspiration in art. What started as a way to pass the time soon became a passion I couldn’t ignore.
Driven by a newfound creativity, I decided to take a bold step and move to New York City. The city’s vibrant art scene and diverse cultural milieu offered me the perfect environment to refine my skills and pursue my artistic ambitions seriously.
Since then, I’ve immersed myself in learning and growth, experimenting with different styles and techniques. Each painting is a journey in itself, reflecting my experiences and emotions during these transformative years. I’ve been fortunate to receive positive feedback and recognition, which has further fueled my determination to carve out a successful career in the art world.
Today, I stand committed to pushing the boundaries of my creativity and making meaningful contributions to the art community. My journey so far has been both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While my time in New York has been filled with exciting opportunities, it hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the biggest struggles I’ve faced has been navigating negative attitudes from individuals who seemed intent on undermining my progress, often women who were dismissive of my ambitions.
Despite these encounters, I’ve remained steadfast in my commitment to my craft. I’ve used these experiences as motivation to push harder and prove my capabilities. Each obstacle has strengthened my resolve and taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity.
Overall, while the road has had its bumps, I’ve emerged stronger and more determined to achieve my goals in the art world.

My work spans both painting and sculpture, where I find joy in exploring the intersection of form, color, and emotion. I specialize in creating pieces that evoke a sense of depth and storytelling, often drawing inspiration from my personal experiences and surroundings.
What I’m most proud of is not just my artistic achievements, but my unwavering determination to pursue my passion despite challenges. Building a supportive community has been instrumental in my journey, providing encouragement and critique that have helped me grow as an artist.

What matters most to me is the genuine excitement and emotional connection people experience when they interact with my art. Seeing the sparkle in someone’s eyes or witnessing their deep engagement with my exhibitions is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a validation of the time, passion, and creativity I invest in my work.
