Today we’d like to introduce you to Bounce Cruz

Hi Bounce , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I started my musical journey at the age of 14. It was the best outlet to have at that age. Cause, it kept me out of a lot of street stuff. Gave me something to do besides chaos. I can say music literally saved my life;)

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

It’s always been therapeutic for me so for the most it’s been smooth. I would add that usually most of the problems associated with being a musician is if you have a significant other, there’s a balance that you have to find to get to that sweet spot. Otherwise they think it’s a party all the time and it’s not. There is real work in doing music. And secondly one of the biggest struggles is staying relevant, being consistent is a whole challenge in itself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

I’m the frontman of ST1reggae based out of Las Vegas NV. I’m mostly a lead guitarist that has been dabbling with vocals for a few years now.
At this point in my journey I’m most proud that our band ST1 has come a long way since 2 years ago. Everyone has grown since then not just musically but also as great people. They’re not afraid of limitations and strive to be the best.
I think what sets us apart is, our hustle is second to none right now. We do a lot of work for our Islander community out here. We’re just out here doing our damn thing as long and as much as we can. Making those connections in the community.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?

Never forgetting where we’re from and who’s been with us since day one;)
