In our experience, talking about legacy is often subtly discouraged by society and we find this to be deeply unfortunate. Thinking about the legacy you would like to build can help you better align your work, life, time – your sweat and tears – with your values. Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

When I think about what I want my legacy to be, my ultimate goal is to leave this world a better place than when I arrived. Through my work as a healer and spiritual entrepreneur, I want to help people connect with themselves on a deeper level, overcome their limiting beliefs, and create a life that is aligned with their passions and values. My mission is to empower others to uncover their true potential and create an authentic, fulfilling life that they love! Read more>>

I hope to be remembered for fostering an inclusive environment for every member of my team, a true chosen family. I hope to be remembered for being firm yet fair, for approaching my days with Patience, Love, Courage, and Kindness, for my perseverance, fortitude, innovation, and originality, For my ability to bounce back and reinvent myself and my brand in order to shift with the ever growing market and demographic. I hope my clients remember me each time they look into their beautiful bunny’s eyes and think back to where they were born and raised. I have such a compassion for raising the bunnies right, in a loving, caring, and clean environment! I hope they think of my frequent communication the next time they have a bunny question. I frequently send families updates on their bunny’s, whether they are a baby not ready to go home yet or a bunny coming back for boarding. Read more>>

I want to build a brand that keeps on growing and lives beyond me. That’s why it was important to have a part of my name in my business. So that my name lives on. I would love it if my daughter works with me when she grows up. She has already said that she wants to help me at markets when she gets older! Mental health and well-being is my passion. I want to share my story with others to inspire them and give them hope. I love reading non-fiction especially books about overcoming. Other peoples stories let me know that I am not alone. I want to pay it forward. Read more>>

In the realm of professional music, I certainly hope my legacy will be that of highly expressive music making at the highest levels, but also that I was someone who left things better than I found them- whether that be the classical music industry, the places in which I lived, or my home state of Mississippi. Outside of my work, I enjoy volunteering, raising money for non-profits that are improving outcomes for Mississippians, and working to rehabilitate older homes- anything that feeds my desire to improve the world around me, I suppose. The legacy I hope to leave behind someday is a simple one. I hope to be remembered as someone who was easy to be around and someone who made people feel welcome in my presence. I hope that when I’m gone, the things that people remember are times I made them laugh the hardest or gave them the most comfort when they needed it most. Read more>>

This is an amazing question and I have often thought about this as a child. I want to be remembered for impacting and changing the world. I want to be remembered for helping to empower people, helping them to see their worth. I want to be a guide to millions and an example of how living life as ourselves, shadows and all, is the path to truly doing what we came into this life in this world to do. Read more>>

Since bringing Lilla Cavallo from a thought to full fruition, it is overwhelmingly clear that I am living my truth and I am doing exactly what I always *knew* I’d be doing. I wanted to be a business woman my entire life- the draw to the woman in charge, specifically the well dressed woman in charge, peaked my interest when I was younger. Read more>>

Legacy is important to me. I am the oldest of six girls, and I have built my drive and determination foundation off creating a blueprint for my siblings and other young women pursuing business careers. We live in a male-dominated society, so it is important that women continue to strive to break barriers by operating in a spirit of excellence in their careers. Read more>>
