I owned two yoga studios in Seattle WA for about 10 years. I decided to move to Venice CA. I did not plan to open another yoga studio, but the universe had other plans for me. I was not finding a community driven yoga studio that I heard existed in LA. In fact, there was a yoga studio called Exhale that was pretty famous, but closed. No one seemed to replace that energy. Approximately a year ago, I went on my first ever diving expedition in the Truk Lagoon, Micronesia to document the life of the crew and the diving team preparing for WWII shipwreck exploration. It was an awesome month full of hard work but also adventurous moments I had never experienced before. In addition to going on set to coach, I also have a studio where students are enrolled in classes ranging from Technique, Improv, voice, staged combat and three levels of scene study. One night while teaching a scene study class I had two intermediate actors presenting a scene from “Law Abiding Citizen” it was a tough scene and the actors did an admirable job and I asked them to bring it back the next week.
