I started as a pastor, wearing many hats. Christian music recording artist and worship leader in a church. Eventually, I became the executive pastor, helping a local church in Nebraska become one of the fastest-growing churches in America. We grew from the 500’s to close to 3000 in multiple locations within a few years. This journey started in 2009. My dad and family started our first restaurant in 1972. A Coney Island in Detroit, Michigan, called Christo’s Coney Island. It only had 35 seats, with a line out the door as soon as we opened. I was eight years old and can remember working hard to get the remodeled restaurant ready to open. In early 2020, just before the pandemic hit, I was riding the NYC subway home while wearing one of the crowns I’d just recently made. In NYC, it’s common to wear headphones on the train and not speak to anyone around you. A woman nudged me and asked where I’d gotten the crown I was wearing. I explained to her that I made it myself, I was a jewelry designer. She said she was a stylist and asked if there was any way she could borrow it for a photoshoot later that week. Read more>>

I was living in Brooklyn at the time and we weren’t even allowed to go into our studio so I was running everything from home and fulfilling orders from my living room.
