Being a business owner isn’t easy. There are amazing highs, but the lows are often quite intense as well. Somedays it feels like the problems never stop – regardless of how much success you achieve. The problems just grow, evolve, morph. So we asked business owners if they sometimes wonder what it would be like to just have a regular job and have shared some of the highlights below.

I’m more than happy to be a business owner it’s an understatement to say I’m blessed. I always push people to be a entrepreneur because of the pros that come along with it. For example; the money is infinite(you can always make more), flexible hours, with endless opportunities. I’ve worked numerous 9 to 5 jobs for years. However, each day I prayed to God knowing there was something better for me. With faith & hard work I am now a successful CEO. I don’t knock a 9 to 5 just don’t allow it to consume you or your goals. I personally couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. I went to school, finished my degree, but there was just something pulling me back. At the time, I didn’t understand or see why things were drifting the way they were. I became a mom for the fourth time, and it was like god and the universe was telling me to slow down. Growth. The dichotomy that resurfaces again and again for me as a business owner is achieving the goal I have defined and then immediately raising the bar even higher. Nobody told me in the inception days of Aster Earth (nearly a decade ago), that those big goals you see for the company will only grow once you achieve them.
