We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tim Finnegan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Tim, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I first knew I wanted to pursue a career in music when I was in high school and I put my mind even more to it during my college career.

Tim, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I would say I am most proud of putting myself out there and continuing to get as many gigs and open mics as I possibly can. The entertainment industry is hard to get into, but I know to never take rejections personally and that I keep trying and never give up.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I would say the most rewarding aspect of being a Singer-Songwriter is when I can write uplifting songs and get my music heard at gigs and other music platforms on the Internet.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to continue to grow my fans and perform at more music venues and release more albums that I can eventually get released to record labels. I am always looking for more ways to put myself out there and get my music heard.
