We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Love For All a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Love For All, thanks for joining us; we are excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
KAE: We recently released our first ever EP titled ‘Yearbook.’ The project came about as we were reflecting on our experiences in school, particularly high school. REACH: We wanted to capture a snippet of the breadth of feelings high schoolers experience, from carefree summer days to first crushes to stress and loss. High school can be tough, but it can also be an amazing time of growth, fun, and learning like it was for us.
CHI: Our hope is to relate to others and show them that they are not alone.
KAE: There is always more to tell, and this is just the beginning of the story.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
KAE: We are Love For All. I’m Kae, the leader and vocalist of the group. REACH: I’m Reach. I play lead guitar.
CHI: I’m Chi. I’m on the drums.
REACH: We are a pop rock band from Baltimore, Maryland on a mission to bring people together through the power of music. We do that through honest, empathetic lyrics and treating people with love.
KAE: Love is a powerful emotion that the world needs more of. Together, we hope to bring that to people wherever they are. Everyone deserves to feel loved, young and old, and we aim to share love through words and music.
CHI: Although we are a pop rock group, we enjoy all genres of music and plan to use different styles as we continue to grow and mature as musicians. We are working hard to be the best we can be at our craft as well as to be loving people and set an example for others to follow.
KAE: Right now we’re focused on spreading love by playing at venues, gathering people who love music as much as we do, and sharing our talents with the world. This also gives us lots of opportunities to meet new people and love them. We look forward to playing even more shows over the coming months.
REACH: We are also excited to share ‘Yearbook,’ our latest EP and biggest project so far.
CHI: ‘Yearbook’ contains six tracks, all of which communicate the ups and downs of life during high school. We are proud to be able to create something that connects with others while also being an outlet for us to talk about our own experiences.
KAE: We hope people will join us on our long journey through music and will find something they enjoy and relate to.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
KAE: First, being able to be vulnerable. Sharing a story through music can be challenging at times, but it also pushes you to open up about your experiences, some sad, some happy. There is no wrong way to tell your story through music. Often times you will find others who relate to what you are going through. While those things may be difficult to bring up in conversation, it’s sometimes easier to voice your feelings through a song. It often is my form of therapy and keeps me going.
Second, Music is a universal language, something that connects everyone no matter their language or beliefs or circumstances. Its not exclusive and has the power to unite, and that is so beautiful to see. Knowing I have the ability to do that with my words and talents means everything to me.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
