We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brianna Ramirez. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brianna below.
Brianna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
When I turned 25, the stars aligned for me, bringing together my two passions: real estate and social media. Once I got my license in 2018, I knew exactly where my focus needed to be—helping first-time homebuyers and families looking to create generational wealth through real estate investments.
As someone who is both Mexican and Salvadorian, as well as a millennial, I feel a natural connection to these communities. I get it—buying your first home in the Bay Area can feel like an impossible dream, given that local prices far exceed the national average. I deeply empathize with those who’ve grown up here and worry that they might get priced out of their own hometown.
That’s why I’m passionate about guiding first-time homebuyers in this area. Believe me, there are resources and strategies to make homeownership attainable, even here
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My path to real estate is far from traditional. Fresh out of high school, I dove into fashion school in San Francisco, and from there, ventured into the world of retail. During those years, I was already building a strong personal brand through social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, focusing on my passions for fashion, makeup, and travel.
However, as I progressed in my fashion merchandising career, I spotted a unique opportunity: merging my family’s Real Estate business with the power of social media. That’s when I made a pivot—left my corporate job, studied non-stop for my real estate license, and just three months later, jumped headfirst into the real estate world.
Fast forward to today, I’ve spent the last five years connecting with amazing individuals and families, helping them turn their real estate dreams into reality.
Social media isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a business tool that I swear by. It’s a phenomenal way to engage with your community and establish trust. By being unapologetically yourself and showcasing your expertise, you don’t just get likes—you become top-of-mind in your community.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Navigating the world of real estate may appear straightforward on the surface, but trust me, it’s filled with complexities. Each deal presents its own unique set of challenges, right from securing the contract to the closing table.
I was representing a first-time homebuyer who had been on the hunt for months, aiming to find the ideal living space. We stumbled upon a sleek townhouse that checked all the boxes: modern finishes and a prime location. The property was competitively priced, and the market showed no signs of cooling down.
The catch? I had a vacation planned right when the offers were due. But let’s be real, in this business, the hustle never stops. So there I was, laptop in my lap, writing up the offer while on a road trip to Washington. And guess what? Out of the 30+ offers that were submitted, ours was accepted—1st challenge completed!
Fast-forward a few weeks, and we hit our next major hurdle. The appraisal report came in, and let’s just say, it wasn’t in our favor. The property was appraised at $125K less than our purchase price. Yeah, you read that right. I knew I had to act quick to salvage the deal.
Working closely with the listing agent, I switched gears overnight and coordinated with a new lender to get a second appraisal lined up. On Christmas Eve, no less, I met the new appraiser armed with updated comparables. And guess what? The second appraisal matched our original purchase price to the penny, saving my client a whopping $125K! A holiday miracle!
This whirlwind experience was more than just luck, it was a powerful reminder that a strong professional network is invaluable in this industry. The ability to pivot and adapt, coupled with some serious teamwork, made all the difference. And let’s face it, in the world of real estate, that’s what it takes to close a deal and make homeownership a reality.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I absolutely love talking about this! Real Estate and Social Media are my passion. I’m always sharing with my colleagues, audience, friends, and family how game-changing social media can be for their businesses. It’s not just about viral dances or vacation pics; it’s a chance to truly connect with your target audience and build meaningful trust. Social media lets people see the real me—not just as a Realtor, but also as a creative content creator, a devoted daughter, a loving partner, and a loyal friend.
My social media journey has been filled with ups and downs, but each mistake was a lesson. Over time and with consistent effort, I focused in on what my audience really vibed with. Transitioning to Real Estate felt like starting from scratch, and yeah, it was overwhelming. But launching my Real Estate-focused account was like a breath of fresh air. I was able to bring over eight years of lifestyle branding experience, blending it seamlessly with real estate insights. The more I learned about the real estate industry, the more confidently I could speak to my audience. It’s been super fun sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the bustling life of a Silicon Valley Realtor through home tours and day-in-the-life vlogs.
As my audience grew, I made it a point to engage in the comments. This deepens community ties like nothing else. Before you know it, people your community are DMing you because they already feel like they know you. Trust me, no amount of mailers or cold calls can replicate the kind of organic trust you build by showing up as your authentic self, consistently.
