Hi Shenika, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?

I never gave up . That I inspired others to follow their dreams no matter the circumstances or what the consequences might be if you believe in yourself and can vision it it’s absolutely possible to pursue just make sure to stay consistent and focused no distractions.

Shenika, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Shenika Newton I am the owner of a fly cannabis company called N’Credible Edibles LA . Where we manufacture Butters/Oils/Drinks/Baked Goods. I started during the first year of Covid I decided to take a cannabis internet course where I have learned the ins and outs of the beautiful and plentiful cannabis plant. I got so interested in all the wonderful benefits of cannabis that I decided to play around with different methods in the kitchen and decided to bake!!! Another thing I love love love to do. Although I had a plan I had no clue what I was getting into this industry is full of surprises and disappointment personal and professional. My hero my mentor Father passed away and that changed the game for me. I had to reset and process someone so important not being here to guide me and my recipes and the love of the plants. Although he is not in the physical he bakes with me spiritually , with that I have some off the wall baked goods and candies that are used for pain relief /loss of appetite/ helps with trouble sleeping ass well. Everything is a one stop shop I also do my own THC testing to make sure that everything is the right dosage when and how to use when using as well. I am also a cannabis influencer in the making I have discovered my love making people smile and happy coming to a pop up shop near u .

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

To all the entrepreneurs out there work smarter not harder. I decided to work a part time job save up and my products one by one until I have everything that I need yes it is a slow process however it is very rewarding I pick schedule and that works for me although I am always looking for sponsorship opportunities.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Be careful with what u share others for example business ideas or future plans you want to make sure that those around you are ultimately happy for you and support you through your good your bad and ugly . You want to make sure you have positive people with similar goals to enhance your productivity in business and in life . We have people in our lives that are not on the same frequency and do not have the same dreams as you and prefer to stay stagnant that can cause a disturbance to you and your brand
