We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Leandro Fabian Curcio a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Leandro Fabian, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with something countless entrepreneurs have had to figure out on the fly – how have you dealt with the rise of remote work?
I have always wanted to have my own business and that added to the fact that I have been taught since I was little that the important thing is to work hard, but above all smart. I have decided to create a business in which both I and my team can do it from anywhere in the world.
The two most difficult challenges were, in principle, finding the right people who are focused and who you know can do a job as quickly and as well as possible so that the client is satisfied. And the second challenge is to delegate to these people the work that you initially did alone. But it is part of the progress and I really don’t regret it today because the biggest benefit of this is having more time to focus on sales and get more clients from various parts of the world to continue growing.

Leandro Fabian, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
After finishing my degree as a Producer, I started in Argentina with the “Money Maker” academy with Gustavo Iaccino, a professional in sales techniques, and then I continued with the audiovisual series “millionaire giants” with the journalist Luna Aguero independently. Luckily, it grew more than I expected, eventually interviewing big businessmen in my country and broadcasting the series on a TV channel there. I continued to grow little by little and began to do work for Spain, Costa Rica, Turkey, among others remotely as a freelancer. Marketing work, photo and video editing, scripts, designs, social media management, etc. always in Spanish language.
During the pandemic, these remote jobs increased and after the pandemic, seeing that it had grown a little more, I decided to found a 100% remote agency called “It’s just business” together with Camila Lobatto, this agency focuses on all types of remote jobs for everything. the world from producing content, social networks, brand creation, etc.
But, I found a limitation and it was that I did not know English, so after a long time of losing clients due to that limitation, I have decided to come to Miami to focus on studying English so that in the future I can expand my audience and be able to work for clients from other countries that have English as their native language and thus grow much more.
What differentiates our agency from others is that we are like the “emergency” button. If you are our client and you need a job on a Sunday at 11 PM to have it on Monday at 3 AM, just call us and we are here to help. help you. If you need to design something for the same day, we do it, if you need to edit a video in an hour, we do it. While other agencies tell you to wait until Monday or that you have to wait a long time to get it, our business structure allows us to be available to the client 24/7 and create quality work.
Today we are with the IJB agency, the “millionaire giants” series and the “Money Maker” academy growing little by little but firmly to leave a legacy and for our name to be recognized.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I believed that building an audience on social networks was easier. To give you an idea, I started in 2017 and grew little by little without much money for advertising. I have seen people who started after me and today have thousands more followers, at first one gets frustrated but then they think that it is what the other person did that I didn’t. There I began to see that many of these people had almost unlimited capital or formed strategic alliances to grow. What I did in these cases is analyze and see how this can help me, and so I did. I’m still growing little by little but the people who follow us and watch our audiovisual productions are thousands, today we have almost 1 million views on our content on social networks and many of them are people who have followed us since the beginning and that is highly valued .
The suggestion to grow is to try to be constant, sometimes it is not what you expect but if you stop publishing (like it happened to me) the few who followed you are going to fall and thus you will never grow. I believe that when you don’t have money the objective is to be constant and make strategic alliances to leverage and grow.

Let’s move on to buying businesses – can you talk to us about your experience with business acquisitions?
Yes, I have partnered with a painting contractor who has more than 15 years in the market focused on residential and commercial projects, I cannot yet reveal the name but I hope that by the time this interview comes out I will be able to do so. An alliance in this area is new to me, but we both have what the other lacks. I have the commercial and administrative part and he has the human resources part to direct and do the work. My part is always remote, I manage it from my country Argentina or from another point where I am, and that business structure helps us to be one of the cheapest licensed and insured contractors on the market, always maintaining the quality and experience that It is achieved with so many years in the market.
