We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nicole Lovince a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nicole , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
My taking a risk story has to do with how I met my now fiancé. We met through a mutual friend (Solay) on Clubhouse during its beta test in the height of Covid. One of my friends, who is a conscious entrepreneur coach, hosted a conscious singles room on Clubhouse (an audio only networking app). At the time, I had just closed the door on a potential relationship with someone. My friend Bita pinged me to come into this room, I remember just feeling this deep resonance in my soul that I should go to this event. So, I go, and my now fiance Miro was there. Each participant is sharing about how we could potentially ruin our next relationship and all the things that we desire and want from a future partner. Solay said if there’s anyone in the room that you would like to get to know, you should contact them via DM on Instagram. Miro immediately contacts me! He said “I love what you had to say and I want to get to know you more”. During the midst of our talking, we had a lot in common. Our conversations were incredible. We spent hours on the phone. Soon after the first month we realized because we lived in different states, maybe it wouldn’t work. He also had a six-year-old son to consider. Five days later, he messages me and says “A client is flying me out to do a speaking engagement in San Diego. That’s only a few hours away. Would you come up and meet me so we can meet in person”? I remember feeling this deep knowing in my body that it was a yes. And it sounded crazy to meet this guy that I only talked to online in person in San Diego. So I go, we spend the best kind of weekend together, oddly and weirdly already plotting out our lives. We left that trip, wanting to see each other again immediately. He asked “I know this sounds crazy, but will you join me as my guest in Tulum for two weeks? I’m hosting my first international retreat will you join me”? It was crazy! I just met this guy, and I’m going to go and leave the country with him. However my heart was full YES and I trusted it. We fell in love and we’ve been together ever since. On that same trip, I got the download and the connections to start my company, The Goddess Bath Experience. So, not only was my soul nudging me to take the risk to go to the retreat and allow myself to fall in love. But also, my company was born. If I had not taken that risk, I may not have my fiancé or company.. So, when we allow ourselves to step into risk and urgency in our lives, we are able to create epic magical results, and I am definitely living proof of that.

Nicole , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am what you would call a multi-hyphenate talent—Actress, Singer/Songwriter, Public Speaker, and Certified Theta Healer. I’m recognized for my scene-stealing acting roles and my powerful vocal range. Since a young age, I graced both major and minor stages, performing in stage plays, festivals, and events in and around Louisiana. With the support of a full academic scholarship, I pursued my education at Bowling Green State University. After graduating Cum Laude with a BA in film production and a minor in broadcasting, I then had the incredible opportunity to attend and graduate from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) summer program in London, UK, with a concentration in Shakespeare.
From that point on, I’ve been actively engaged in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, wearing various hats as an actress, vocalist, casting director, producer, writer, and content creator. In the musical realm, I’m the talent behind original tracks performed under the name “Free The Unicorn,” exploring the realms of R&B, pop, and rock genres.
On the big screen, you might have seen me in productions like “Pitch Perfect” and “Dear White People,” sharing the stage with stars like Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Monique, and Brendan Fraser. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to perform live in front of audiences exceeding 30,000 people.
Beyond the world of entertainment, I’m the creator and curator of The Goddess Bath Experience. I’m passionate about helping women from diverse backgrounds create and maintain a self-care practice called “The Goddess Bath.” It’s an intentional and transformative ritualistic bath that works its magic both inside and out. I bring my unique skills in performance, ritual bath experiences, and intuitive healing to curate The Goddess Bath Experience. This initiative also encompasses monthly events, group coaching programs, and goddess bath subscription boxes, complete with products and a process designed to lead women through inner transformation.
With a rich background in on-camera acting, live stage performance, and content creation, I use my social media platforms to share intuitive insights and experiences through the realms of art, entertainment, and the incredible power of manifestation.”

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
There are a few books and videos that have made a significant impact on my management and entrepreneurial thinking skills. Among them, “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho stands out as a work from which I gained valuable insights. Additionally, “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, and “The Power of Focus” have played crucial roles in shaping my mindset.
Podcasts have also been a valuable resource in my journey of personal growth and development. I regularly tune into podcasts hosted by Eddie Pinero and Lacy Phillips. I have a particular inclination toward materials that blend practical practices, such as those found in “Think and Grow Rich” and “The Power of Focus,” with topics related to manifestation and energetics. Listening to podcasts, engaging in meditations, and immersing myself in motivational speeches allow me to delve into these subjects. I find any opportunity to engage in inner work, enhance my personal development, and sharpen my emotional intelligence to be incredibly valuable.
The resources that have the most profound impact on me are those that not only provide practical guidance but also emphasize healing as a foundational practice. Moreover, I appreciate when these resources incorporate rituals and ceremonies into their teachings, as they blend seamlessly with the practical aspects, making the learning experience holistic and transformative.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Beyond my training and expertise, I hold a strong belief in the pivotal role relationships play in achieving success in my field. As the saying goes, ‘Your network is equal to your net worth,’ and I couldn’t agree more. Relationships form the foundation upon which I’ve built, nurtured, and expanded my company. They have been instrumental in sustaining its growth and attracting clients and referrals.
The manner in which you treat people and the effort invested in nurturing these relationships significantly influence your business’s longevity, sustainability, and brand recognition. This skill set is something I refined through my experience as a performer. From the early stages of my career, I recognized the power of like-minded individuals coming together and how the people you choose to surround yourself with can shape the trajectory of your life.
Therefore, I firmly believe that, beyond skills and knowledge, the quality of your relationships can either make or break the existence of your business.
