We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Danielle Rubenstein. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Danielle below.
Alright, Danielle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe if you want to be successful in life, you have to have these three things aligned. Mind, body, and soul. In my experience, having a positive attitude attracts the customers you want. Getting in the right mindset will help make things clear on how you want to run your life and ultimately this will show up in your business. Lastly, to be able to serve people, you need to nuture your body to have the energy to produce your products.
Every month, I set my intentions on what I want to see come out of my business. For me, this could mean more customers, building relationships with current customers, posting content that my followers align with, and keeping up with trends for my customers to enjoy.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Danielle, but everyone calls me Dede. My baking journey began at 8 years old, where my best friend and I would bake cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other delicious treats while filming everything on a VHS. We would pretend we were on a baking show and even made commercials to add in between our show.
Fast forward to today, I created a business that allows me to make treats for so many beautiful souls to enjoy with their families. I’ve been creating dipped treats & baked goods since April 2018 for birthdays, weddings, and those times where you have a sweet tooth. I believe one thing that sets me apart from others is my personal belief that if something is not up to my standards (which are very high) I will either not serve the item, remake the item or give my customers a coupon to use on their next purchase with me.
One thing I’m most proud of is staying consistent on this journey no matter what life throws at me. While there may be ups and downs, my customers are very understanding and I appreciate them so much!

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
As of now, I only use Instagram and yelp. I believe by using these platforms, I am creating the community I want. I feel like this is more personal.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
I would say vending at markets/events. Or the old fashioned way, word of mouth.
