We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Foster Cazz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Foster below.
Foster, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew around the age of 20 that I might actually have a chance at making something of myself. During that time I was performing all around LA, San Diego, Texas, etc. and honing in on my skills as you see them now.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello people, I am a 28 year old Artist/Producer/Musician based out of Ventura, CA. I started working on music seriously around 8-9 years ago, and I have loved every minute of it. I try to experiment as much as I can, blending genres like UKG with hip hop, DnB, Indie-Alternative, and jazz. I was always driven towards Hip-Hop, but lately I’m steering towards a more eclectic electronic sound (with the added Hip-Hop elements). I just hope my music finds you and I hope you enjoy it, all I’d ever want out of this is to just be heard.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I think the most important thing a fan can do is donate directly to artists/venues/galleries/etc., so that we can keep doing what we love and producing a “product” you love. Also, nobody likes a music hog. Please SHARE what you love with other people. Spreading an Artist’s work leads to more work being created, which is a win-win.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I just want to be able to create something that means something to someone else, other than me.
